A microwave anechoic chamber, also known as an echo-free chamber, a wave-absorbing chamber or an electromagnetic wave anechoic chamber, is a specially designed enclosed space specifically for electromagnetic-related testing. It is mainly composed of absorbing materials and metal shielding bodies. By absorbing and shielding electromagnetic waves, it simulates an environment that is like an empty "free space". When electromagnetic waves enter the walls, ceilings and floors of the anechoic chamber, the vast majority of the electromagnetic waves are absorbed, with very little being transmitted or reflected. This effectively eliminates external electromagnetic interference, thereby improving the accuracy and efficiency of the test.

The radio wave anechoic chamber (also known as a half-wave anechoic chamber) is constructed by covering five sides of the machine room with absorbing materials, which significantly reduces electromagnetic interference.
1.Application scope:
Simulates an open field. It is used for measuring radio interference (EMI) and radiation sensitivity (EMC). The size of the radio wave anechoic chamber and the selection of absorbing materials are determined by the shape dimensions of the tested equipment (EUT) and the test requirements. There are 1M method, 3M method, and 10M method. Various non-standard anechoic chambers can be customized according to the user's usage requirements.
2. Technical Indicators:
Frequency range: 30 MHz to 18 GHz
Absorption material reflection loss (with a sharp wedge absorbing material attached to the ferrite): 30 MHz to 18 GHz ≥ 15 dB
Radio wave anechoic chamber
Darkroom shielding performance:
Magnetic Field: 14KHz ≥ 75dB; 150KHz ≥ 100dB;
Electric field: 200 kHz to 50 MHz, ≥ 110 dB
Plane wave: 50 MHz to 1 GHz ≥ 100 dB
Microwave: 1GHz - 10GHz ≥ 100dB; 10GHz - 18GHz ≥ 90dB;
The testing method follows the GB12190-90 testing standard.
Normalized site attenuation ±4 dB; Field uniformity 0 - 6 dB; Compliant with GJB2926-97 standard
3. Structural Composition:
The radio wave anechoic chamber is composed of a shielding room (including the shielding shell, shielding door, waveguide window for absorbing waves, and various power filter devices, etc.), absorbing materials (including ferrite + conical absorbing materials), signal transmission board, turntable, antenna, and monitoring system, etc.
