Polyurethane foam absorbing material is a composite material with polyurethane foam as the matrix, a solid foam absorber, with broadband absorbing performance. It is suitable for dark rooms, dark boxes and special areas. The working frequency ranges from 30 MHz to 110 GHz. Through unique structural design or adding functional absorbing agents, it achieves efficient absorption and attenuation of electromagnetic waves.

Solid foam absorber with broadband absorbing performance, suitable for dark rooms, dark boxes and special areas. Working frequency: 30 MHz to 110 GHz. Widely used in radar, communication, antenna measurement and other fields, capable of meeting special usage requirements.

Characteristics and parameters of polyurethane foam absorbing materials:
Physical properties
● Using polyurethane as the base material, the carbon is evenly impregnated. The carbon black has strong adhesion and does not cause carbon powder to fall off.
● The material is plump and upright, with a uniform blue surface, free from color variations, cracks or dirt.
● The material has high consistency in specifications, uniform dimensions, an attractive appearance, no sharp corners, and does not deform.
● The material is soft, has strong resistance to mechanical compression and can rebound.
Absorptive performance
● When incident vertically, the wave impedance gradually changes from 377 Q to 0.8 Q, reducing surface reflection.
● The high electrical conductivity of the material enables the rapid conversion of electromagnetic energy into ohmic energy, absorbing and attenuating radio waves.
● The material thickness and wavelength ratio (d/λ) affect the reflectivity; the greater the thickness, the lower the reflectivity.
Flame retardant performance
● Oxygen index ≥ 28% (GB/T 2406-2009)
● Flame retardant B2 grade (GB8624-2012)
● Operating temperature: -50℃ to +90℃, and can reach -100 to 120℃ for short periods.
Environmental protection performance
● The flame retardant is made from inorganic materials. The product is non-toxic, odorless and does not release harmful gases.
● The material contains no heavy metals or halogens and complies with the environmental protection requirements of the European Union.
● The material does not generate dust.
● The formaldehyde emission of the interior wall coating complies with the limit standards specified in GB/T18580-2017.
